Strong table tennis tournament for the disabled in Slovenia

Slovenian town of Laško hosted the 18th traditional para-table tennis tournament from 9th to 13th of May 2023.

More than 400 participants (both men and women) from 53 countries took part in this event. Tournament in Laško is always one of the strongest in Europe and this year also competitors from China participated. They were also the most successfull country competing at the tournament. Medals were also won by competitors from South Korea, Great Britain, Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Brazil, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Belgium, Serbia and Montenegro. Slovenia as host did not win any medals, as mainly younger and unexperienced sportsmen (10 of them all togheter) represented it in Laško this year.

Thank you Laško and we are already looking forward to the next tournament which will be hosted there.
