Day 5: Full Day Trip to Ljubljana and Bled

Full day trip to Ljubljana and Bled. In the morning, we drive to Bled with its famous lake and an island with church and medieval castle on the rock high above the lake. So with just a little of imagination we feel like in a fairy tale. After a short tour around the lake we will have great chance to try Bled famous cream cake »kremšnita«. Our next stop is Slovenian capital city Ljubljana. After arrival, we take some time for lunch and then start a guided tour of the city which in 2015 got an Bronze Access City Award and a 2018 Silver Access City Award. We look around the city center that was highly denoted by a Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik and take the funicular to Ljubljana Castle. After seeing all the important parts of the city center and after having the compulsory coffee (Slovenians just love coffee drinking, in fact we drink much more of it than our neighbors Italians) we drive back to the spa.
